The most outstanding experience!!! Rose is so friendly, super quick communication and soooo talented! When I brought her my highly detailed wedding dress (beading, multiple layers, lace florals) it was way too big on me. She brought it in, hemmed and added a bustle, much more too, in such a quick turnaround and the quality of her work is amazing. She has also altered my husbands suit and did a fantastic job on that too. I cannot rate Rose highly enough!

I have used Rose 3 times in the last 6 months to alter various costume dresses to fit, enlarge the sizing...or make a completely new item. Rose is a legend and a life saver. I have one of the most difficult dresses (which was made overseas) for a bridal party in Oct. The dress is well made with the most beautiful and elegant lace, and with handsewn sequins and beads. However, the sizing was small and the design was.. let's just say, not my liking at all. I asked a few dress makers to fix, but they either didn't want to alter my dress due to its intricacy, or quoted very, very high price.I kept searching websites, and when I saw Rose & Silks Clothing alterations with 5 star reviews, I was excited. I am so so happy to have found Rose & Silks - those 5 star reviews are definitely spot on.She was friendly, helpful, professional and skillful. What I was told by others that to alter the dress was too hard, too challenging and cannot be done - Rose could do it all. What a huge joy! She is very approachable, and gave me as sense of assurance (after experiencing a few set backs from other alterators, my confidence and hope that the dress was salvageable was extremely low). Just picked up 2 skirts that I had made bigger.I was in no rush and it was so worth the wait.From the one and only fitting measurement at the initial appointment I wasn't sure to be honest. It's also well out of my way.HOWEVER how wrong could I be!!Very happy, you pay for quality and that's what I got. The skirts will never go put of fashion and fit the way I want them to.Been to a few other, cheap and nasty, only to be very disappointed- never again! Well Done!Communication is honest, consultative and polite. They really care about what they do so well.

I cannot recommend Rose enough! When my dress arrived and ended up being too big because I lost weight between the time of measurements and 2 months before my wedding, I went to multiple alteration places. Rose was my favourite and I’m so glad that I chose her and found her to alter my dress. Not only is she so friendly and kind but she is so helpful with pricing and flexible to work around her clients schedules at all times. Her work truly speaks for itself. My dress is very expensive and full of beading from head to toe and she managed to alter it smaller perfectly. I recently had my wedding gown hem and sleeves altered with Rose and I ended up in tears because I didn’t believe that anyone could make my gown more beautiful. Rose is a magician! I had a skirt shortened with her, but it wasn't a straight forward hem at the base. I didn't want the skirt cut and asked her if she could lift and tuck into a top tier. Nothing was too difficult for her and she did an incredible job, there were no visible signs of the skirt being hemmed. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend her, thank you Rose!

Rose is a legend and a life saver. I have one of the most difficult dresses (which was made overseas) for a bridal party in Oct. The dress is well made with the most beautiful and elegant lace, and with handsewn sequins and beads. However, the sizing was small and the design was.. let's just say, not my liking at all. I asked a few dress makers to fix, but they either didn't want to alter my dress due to its intricacy, or quoted very, very high price.I kept searching websites, and when I saw Rose & Silks Clothing alterations with 5 star reviews, I was excited. Just picked up 2 skirts that I had made bigger.I was in no rush and it was so worth the wait.From the one and only fitting measurement at the initial appointment I wasn't sure to be honest. It's also well out of my way.HOWEVER how wrong could I be!!Very happy, you pay for quality and that's what I got. Rose is an expert in her craft. I bought two pairs of pants in Japan which were of unusual construction, but she still managed to alter them cleanly and and seamlessly. She was also patient when helping me to decide exactly what measurements I wanted. Would definitely go back again and recommend to others.

My wife and I had the wedding gown alteration here. The price is good and owner is so kind. I can feel she’s helping the newly wed. We had the dry cleaning done here as well. I’ll definitely go here every time I need alteration and dry cleaning. I highly recommend it.

I recently had my wedding gown hem and sleeves altered with Rose and I ended up in tears because I didn’t believe that anyone could make my gown more beautiful. She was so supportive and professional in her approach. Rose knew exactly what I needed and she works quickly and treated my special gown with so much respect and care. It was made of chiffon and silk and it was impossible to notice any alterations. Rose made me look even better than the original. I would highly recommend her, she was marvellous. Rose did a fantastic job altering two dress shirts. I had to shorten the sleeve length, slim down the sleeves, slim down the waist and back. Now they are a perfect fit. I will definitely recommend Rose to friends and family and will come back for any future alterations

Rose is a magician! I had a skirt shortened with her, but it wasn't a straight forward hem at the base. I didn't want the skirt cut and asked her if she could lift and tuck into a top tier. Nothing was too difficult for her and she did an incredible job, there were no visible signs of the skirt being hemmed. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend her, thank you Rose!

I had a pair of Nudie jeans that I love but they were sagging in the bum area, And also didn't fit my legs properly. I was almost ready to get rid of them.But with the magic of Rose N Silk.All I can say is wow they fit perfectly now!! And I'm extremely happy with the outcome. So great to have found Rose! After only 1 fitting, she was able to alter my wedding dress that I bought off the rack. Her renovated place is spacious and very accomodating. Rose is an absolute gem. Her skills, service and care is beyond comparable, yet she is reasonably price and affordable for those brides who are on a budget. I came to Rose after purchasing my wedding dress off the rack, and had Rose shorten the dress in length and through the straps, and add a bustle as my dress was very heavy. The amount of care, detail and support she provided me as I prepared for the wedding was above and beyond, and with her craftsmanship, my wedding dress was elevated in beauty. She fit us in promptly to alter a wedding dress, two bridesmaids dresses plus another two party dresses. Rose did an amazing job! i had to get my deb dress altered because I changed my shoes and the height was different. She managed to shorten 7 layers within 1 night and did a perfect job.
