I honestly can’t thank Rose enough for everything she did for me leading up to my wedding day. From the moment I met her, she made me feel so comfortable and reassured during such a stressful time with my dress. I came in not knowing what could even be done, as my wedding dress no longer fit properly, wouldn’t zip up fully, felt tight around the chest and underarm area, and even the original bra cups inside weren’t right for me. Rose worked absolute magic on my dress. She created a beautiful custom corset back to extend and reshape the dress so it fit me comfortably while still looking absolutely stunning on. She also changed the bra cups to ones that suited me properly, attached my veil wings perfectly onto the dress, shortened the front length just enough so my heels could show nicely, and added a train bustle so I could comfortably walk around, dance, and enjoy my wedding night without struggling with the dress. She truly listened to all my concerns and treated my dress with so much care, patience, and attention to detail. Not only did she alter my wedding dress beautifully, but she also professionally cleaned my dress afterwards and cleaned my husband’s suit as well. Everything came out looking amazing. What I appreciated most was how kind, understanding, and accommodating she was throughout the whole process. Wedding planning can be overwhelming, and Rose genuinely helped relieve so much stress for me. Her communication, professionalism, and talent are incredible, and you can truly tell how passionate she is about what she does. I’m beyond grateful and would highly recommend Rose to anyone needing bridal alterations, dressmaking, or garment care. I would absolutely contact Rose again in the future if I ever need alterations done on anything else when the time comes. I was honestly really nervous about getting my wedding dress altered because I’d heard so many stories about brides having bad experiences, but from my very first appointment Rose made me feel completely comfortable and confident that my dress was in the best hands. Rose was not only extremely quick with her turnaround, having my dress ready for me within a week, but she took immaculate care of my vintage dress with delicate beading. She took a dress that was a least 3 sizes too big for me, and turned it into what could only be assumed was custom made. I can’t recommend Rose highly enough. After being turned away by five other tailors due to the short timeframe, I was so relieved to find Rose. I bought my dress on Tuesday on facebook marketplace, it was too small but I bought it anyway as it was so beautiful. Despite being very busy with other clients, Rose was able to fit me in. I brought it in on Wednesday as it wouldn’t zip up at all at the back. She completely transformed it in less than 24 hours - turning the back into a beautiful corset, altering the sleeves for a better fit and hemming the dress, all ready for a wedding on Friday. Rose had the difficult task of restoring a vintage dress with tears and stains and went above and beyond my expectations! Not only did the dress come up basically brand new, we also added floral detailing that I LOVED. I had my wedding dress altered by Rose, and honestly, I am so glad that I found her. I walked in not really knowing what needed to be fixed or how the dress was supposed to fit . I only know my dress was quite a complex one and required a lot of work. Rose gave suggestions I never would’ve thought of, and made me feel totally comfortable the whole time. She is professional and communicates well. By the end, the dress fit like it was made for me. I felt amazing on my wedding day, and I’m so grateful for her help and her eye for detail. Rose was absolutely fantastic, she saved my dress! 👗✨ Because I didn’t have enough time to order my size, I had to buy a sample dress that was more than two sizes too big (you can see it in the first photo!). The ladies at the dress shop said it could be altered to fit, but I didn’t realize how expensive alterations could be for a lace dress like mine.. I was a bit shocked! 😅 After getting a few quotes that were way out of my budget, I found Rose, and she gave me hope. Her pricing was so much more reasonable, and her work was incredible. My dress had a detailed lace pattern with long sleeves, and she adjusted everything perfectly to fit my shape — the result was amazing (as you can see in my wedding photos 💕). Also a few days before the wedding, I noticed the bra cups were still too big, even with my sticky bra. I panicked, but Rose was so kind and responsive… she replaced the cups for me the very next day! 😭 I’m so grateful for her skill, patience, and care. I cannot recommend Rose highly enough! From the first fitting to the event I felt so confident and proud of her work. Rose is incredibly talented, took my dress in and hemmed it to fit like a glove! As you can see in the photos, my dress had a large sculptural panel on the front of the bodice which Rose placed invisible stitching throughout to secure it in place. Rose is also incredibly affordable, I was worried about the cost of having so much done and I was pleasantly surprised with the price she gave. Very trustworthy! She will look after your dress as if it is her own. Shes not the cheapest but you absolutely get what you pay for! And with something so precious that can really make or break your day, why not invest that little bit more into something you’ve already put so much money and excitement into? My bust alterations were all done by hand, so not to damage the beads. She took her time, and for that I understand was so much love and labour to complete (hence the cost). The bustle is near invisible! The shoulder pieces were cut shorter to sit where I wanted. Everything tailor made to my body and therefore there was no having to pull up my bust every two seconds. I could dance, I could walk, I could pick everything up and ran around the gardens to take photos. It was just perfectly fit. I probably could have gone shorter in length but it suits the style I chose and couldn’t have looked more princessy! She was great to deal with when booking my appointment. She has a private little studio at the back of her home so you have the privacy and time to try on and talk through everything. You will see how many dresses she has there and clearly shows what a fantastic business she is running. She only asks for a deposit to start and you pay the remaining on completion after you have tried on your dress. She completed the dress by the date she stated.
